Most Expensive Remote Control

The Gold RC1 may look like a UFO but it satisfies one of our most basic, earthly needs—changing the channel. Created by Denmark’s Lantic Systems, known for developing high end integrated entertainment systems to be used in luxury yachts, the Gold RC1 is actually a classier version of their already elegant RC1. The difference being, you guessed it, it’s gold.
Most expensive remote control
The world’s most expensive remote doesn’t just look like space age technology, though. The expensive remote controls not only your video and audio entertainment, but also your web browser, e-mail client, CCTV, burglary alarm, lights, curtains, A/C and even allows you to supervise your navigation systems without lifting (more than) a finger.
The Gold RC1 was first unveiled at the METS 2007 Exhibition, the world’s largest marine equipment trade show, in Amsterdam, Holland. It retails in excess of $30,000 USD, making it the most expensive remote control in the world.
