Model Adriana Lima, most known for her being a Victoria’s Secret angel, donned the latest creation of the said lingerie line: the 2010 Bombshell Fantasy Bra in New York City, Wednesday. The bra is adorned with various expensive jewels—diamonds, topaz and sapphire.
The word ‘diamonds’ itself should give you the clue why the price tag for this piece of lingerie is a sparkling $2 million. If you want more details, the diamonds, topaz and sapphire ornaments sum up to 142 carats when weighed. Surely, diamonds are a girl’s best friend—then it may as well be in a girl’s best bra, don’t you think so?
Victoria’s Secret angel Lima will be wearing the dazzling bra again at the much awaited Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show next month which will air on CBS.
It seems that Adriana Lima herself is worth wearing such expensive lingerie. The 29-year old model is actually worth over three times the $2 million bra. According to a Forbes report, her paycheck amounts up to more or less $7.5 million.
It may never be purchased, and is certainly not the most practical of undergarments. But the 2006 Victoria’s Secret dream bra sure is pretty.
Worth US $6.5 million, it contains 2,000 flawless diamonds and has a 10-carat diamond brooch as its centerpiece. Karolina Kurkova has been chosen as the model of this year’s uber-glam diamond bra.
